The brute de forge blade shows the texture of the forging process, showing the knife was forged to shape, rather than ground from a bar. The handle is crafted from desert ironwood for its beauty and density. The bolster material is stabilized live edge sherry burl from a tree in the makers back yard. Red fiber liners accentuate the vine filework on the spine. Nickel silver bolts, pins and lanyard tube secure the handle. Includes a custom brown leather sheath to keep it close at hand.
