This hidden tang beauty has a hand forged blade 5 inches long with a ten inch overall length. The brute d forge straight back blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel at 60RC. The swirling handle is made from stabilized cherry burl from the makers backyard in Des Moines. The collar is nickel silver with an ancient local Iowan bog oak collar. A mosaic pin adds a subtle touch. This is a great, lightweight, all around outdoor knife. Plenty of blade for the biggest jobs, but not heavy enough to weigh you down.
