This graceful mid sized knife is hand forged from 1084 high carbon tool steel, for well balanced performance in the field. It has a 4.5 inch flat ground blade with a razor sharp convex cutting edge. The handle material is a unique local Iowan Bog Elm that is over 3 thousand years old. It comes from the Nodaway river valley in southern Iowa and is naturally a beautiful charcoal grey. The three corby bolts are nickel silver, as is the soldered guard and the lanyard tube. It comes equipped with a custom grey leather pouch sheath to keep it ready for anything.
