Maple Plainsman
This full sized outdoors knife is hand forged from O1 tool steel with a flat grind and a convex edge. The blade is 6.5 inches and overall length is 11.5. The nickle silver guard is soldered to the blade for durability. The handle is crafted from local Iowan curly maple, and treated with a natural walnut dye to bring out the grain. All fittings are nickel silver. Black fiber liners accentuate the vine filework on the spine. Custom leather sheath is dyed to match and has a frog instead of snap on the retention strap for silence in the woods.
An all-around outdoor tool with plenty of reach and power. It’s a field knife you can be proud to own and use.
