Personal Knives for Everyday Carry
Teak Repeat Offender
Teak Repeat Offender
A handsome hidden tang knife with a 3.5 inch cutting edge, it is forged from 1084 with flat grinds and a convex edge. The handle is a piece of reclaimed teak wood cut from an old beam. The guard and spacer are brass with a leather and fiber collar. A mosaic pin anchors the blade in place. Includes a custom made and fitted brown leather sheath.
The handle wood I chose for this knife was salvaged from an old beam that was stored in the workshop/barn of my father in law in central Minnesota. He came across it many years ago and kept it safe on a wood rack until recently when he offered it to me. If I had to guess, I’d say it was part of an old boat. It’s a mystery. I do know it is a beautiful and durable material over 50 years old that adds to the story of this handmade knife.
