This compact puukko is hand forged from 1084 high carbon tool steel with a brute de forge finish that shows the marks of the hammer and heat. The blade is about 3.25 inches with an 8 inch overall length. The osage orange handle is aged with aquafortis to bring out its warm tones and to show off the copper and brass wire inlay that decorates both sides. This hidden tang knife has a soldered brass guard and brass, copper and leather spacers on the collar. Comes with a nice brown, double stitched leather sheath to keep it handy.

This is an understated knife with a lot of capability. A good puukko is useful for anything from hunting to picnicking. A comfortable and useful knife with old school good looks.
