This hidden tang hunter has a four inch, hand forged 1084 blade with flat grind and convex edge. The overall length is about 8.5 inches, giving plenty of control to the razor sharp clip point blade. The handle of the knife is made from a piece of Bur Oak that was brought down during the Derecho that passed through Iowa in 2020 and destroyed many of our old trees. The guard and pin and lanyard tube are nickel silver and the collar is leather and red fiber. Vine filework decorates the spine ahead of the guard. The packages is completed with a custom leather sheath that is double stitched and oiled. This is a beautiful compact hunter with a great feel in the hand and a very capable blade.
